Financial Operations

 The Financial Operations Department/Accounting Department is located within the
 Business Office in Marcus White Annex Rm. 006. The department reports to the
 Chief Financial Officer and works closely with the auditors to create the Financial
 Statements for the University.

 Other responsibilities include the completion of the University's Spending Plan and
 other various financial reports for the University, the State, and Federal agencies,
 reconciliation of the University's cash and appropriation ledgers, oversee the
 capitalization and depreciation of assets, posting of Journal Vouchers and the
 revenue portion of Transfer Invoices, review proper coding of financial documents,
 maintenance of the chart of accounts, and oversee access to the Banner Financial
 Module.
